Russell Fredrick Yankie, 72, of Dorset passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015. He was born on March 27, 1943 in Gypsy, WV the son of Effie (nee Harsh) and Wesley Yankie.

Russell was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; daughters, Kimberly (Jaime) DeFrank of Eastlake, Michelle (Randy) Goff of Geneva; grandchildren, Haley LaBenne, Brandyn & Austyn Allen and brother, Theodore Yankie. Russell was preceded in death by infant daughter, Debbie Jean; his parents; brothers, Earl, David, Richard, William, Charles, Harold and James Yankie.

Friends will be received Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 5 to 8 P.M. at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River Street in Madison. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Larry Wade, officiating.

Final Resting Place will be Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
